The Barbarians Of California - Modern Fashion

This Californian group has riffs in abundance! They only have one full album under their belt so far in the form of their 2024 album ‘And Now I’m Just Mashing My Teeth’ but it looks like they’re gearing up for another impressive showing in the coming months.

High energy riffs drenched in fuzz are this bands calling card and their latest single does not disappoint. It’s not the longest song you’ll ever hear, clocking in at 2 minutes 21 seconds but it certainly packs a punch as it tacks aim at the state of modern fashion, seen all around us.

Loud, feverish & catchy. ‘’MODERN FASHION’’ repeats as the chorus echoes through headphones. Stomping drums hold together the thick booming bass and guitars that dominate the soundscape.

As it looks like The Barbarians Of California begin to build to their next album, they’re off to a promising start with a very strong effort that is sure to turn heads.
