Viagra Boys - Rock & Roll Circus

Backed by a stoick Swedish five piece, Sebastian Murphy proves that he is the best front man in rock today. Viagra Boys once again prove themselves to be one of the most powerful live acts in the modern age. Not only was Sebastian rolling through pools of his own spit on stage and rambling to a point where the veins are bursting from his forehead, you'll also find keyboardist, Elias Jungqvist, climbing the stage rigging and diving in to the crowd. All while the rest of the band don't move an inch for the whole set. It allows all the members to shine in their own way as they blister through a set of modern punk classics on their way to becoming an all time classic punk band. The production value was off the charts for this set, too. It sounded almost studio quality and no one missed a beat. The loose vocal style also allows for a few slip ups to occur during this high octane performance, but in the long run, it adds to the charm of the performance. Next time these guys pass through your town, I seriously recommend picking up a ticket as soon as they go live. Rating: 5/5
