Leeds based metalcore bruisers 'Killing Me Softly' release their first new music since 2023, and it's furious.

These are 6 tracks that would feel perfectly at home on an old school Converge album, only with a modern twist. The album kicks off with the track 'Slipped From The Grasp Of Wings'. Not even 1 second has passed before you're slapped across the face with the impact and ferocity that the band has contained. Unbridled energy coupled with an ever evolving sound makes for a really dangerous outfit and these 15 minutes and 42 seconds fly by as the pace doesn't relent throughout. I highly recommend this EP with my favourite track being 'A Keepsake Halo'. Rating 4/5
